Twin transformations

[Digidestined]

James opened his eyes and blinked several times. Why are the trees so big....in fact why are the trees here. I was in my room James thought. Realising he was on the floor he stood up and looked around. Now I remember... the computer was acting up and then suddenly it went white. James thought. "Hellllloooooooo" James yelled. "Hmmm thats weird my voice sounds different slightly" James said outloud before staring at his hands in shock as he saw they were different. They were claws. "What the hell has happened to me" James asked in a scared tone.

[Max Taiki]

"Hellllloooooooo"... that shout snapped Max into conciousness, above him he saw a crisscoss of leaves and branches forming a dark canopy on top of the sky, which forced the light to poke through the small nooks and crannies. Max got up slowly and decided to survey his surroundings, he already noticed something was wrong when he got up, the trees shouldnt be that big!

His next discovey was when he used his hands to hoist himself up, except they werent hands at all, turquoise 'hands' lay on the floor, and he could see four white claws arching out of three short 'fingers' and one short stubby finger, probably the thumb adjoining the rest of his hand, he flexed his fingers and moved them around to be sure they were his, when he was certain these claws were his, he continued his ascent.

He had been right, he was smaller than the trees... a lot smaller, they were enormous to him, and any light the area was bathed in collided with the trees and cast huge shadows, "it must be a hallucination" Max said quietly, noticing his voice sounded a lot rougher than normal. It was about here when he noticed the second difference, his shoes were gone and had been replaced by clawed feet, three long claws poked through the edges of his feet and curled at his command, something was definitely up here, it had to be something to due with that bright light.

"it must be a hallucination" Max told himself, listening to his rough voice that seemed to tell him that he was wrong, this wasnt a dream or a nightmare or anything like that, he then remembered that shout that had awoke him, he decided he needed to go check it out, making his decision, he took one last look at the trees before heading off in a direction.

After his outburst James went quiet to think. What has happened to my body He thought to himself. As he was thinking he heard the cracking of dried leaves being stepped on. That could either be help or something wanting to cause trouble... either way I am not taking the chance James thought before hiding behind a tree. As he waited he heard the cracking of leaves get closer. Taking a quick glance he saw what he thought to be a small blueish dragon. His hands and feet look like mine James thought taking a look at his own to be sure. "Hello little dragon. State your reason for being here" James shouted trying to make it seem he was bigger than he was. Man I hope this thing doesnt attack me. Those claws could do serious damage

[Max Taiki]

Max took a step back on his ill-fitted leg as he looked over the area with a careful eye, looking for the owner of the voice. "where are you, its not exactly courageous to hide and survey through leaves and grass" he called out to the hidden person, he was personally hoping to get the person to talk so he could spot where he was.

Whilst waiting for the person to talk, Max took the chance to survey the area, he noted how the trees were still colossal compared to himself, their width being two times the size of his own... and their height was countless times larger than himself and had leaves that were the size of him! It was his hope that they would get smaller in due time, it felt very uneasy being in a place where everything but the ground underfoot was bigger than he was.

"Hey I am courageous." James said stepping out from behind his hiding spot. "I need to ask you something. Where am i. Im not of this world. Im a human." James asid to the dragon. "So all i need to know before I go is where am i and what am I" James said to the dragon.

[Max Taiki]

"heh, i thought so" Max thought as he looked at the small-ish dragon in front of him; he noticed that the creature had similar features to himself, but that didnt prove anything as of yet. The second thing that peaked his interest was that the dragon claimed to be human... an interesting statement seeing as he looked nothing like a human, but then again, neither did he.

"Human eh?" Max said to the other monster, "oh and courageous stands for facing your adversary, not hiding behind trees and trying to scare him off with tricks" he commented on the dragon's earlier move before sitting down.

"And who are you exactly, if you are a human as you say you are, if you truely arent of this world... whats your name?" he asked curiously, wondering what the dragon would say, he knew if it came out with something like John Brown... then something was up.

"My name...... well its" James said before thinking. Should i really give this dragon my real name.... well honestly is best James thought before sighing. "My name is James Taiki. What is your name dragon" James asked the dragon

[Max Taiki]

Max's expression shifted for a split second as recognition dawned o it, but this then quickly changed back to his previous emotionless face. "James eh?? i see" Max muttered as he looked around the area before taking a deep breath, "alright, well fi you really are human then i suggest you to be careful... this area can be dangerous" Max told James (if it was him), he didnt even know what this area was like, but if this was really his brother; he couldnt afford a boneheaded move from him that would get him killed.

"so tell me, where did you come from, if you really are human that is" Max asked James, he kept one eye on the dragon in front of him, and the other was surveying the area, he didnt want something to distract him whilst he learned the truth of all of this, until that time happened, then his true identity would remain a secret to James.

He had already formulated a plan, he needed James to trust him enough so that he would tell him things of his life, if they matched up then he could be certain this was James... then again, who wanted to impersonate James... surely he wasnt that important for a random draogn to steal his name. He would ahve to wait for James to answer his first question before asking anything else though, too many could unsettle him.

"And dont ask me for my name, thats a for-me-to-know and you-to-find-out thing" he barked after all his thoughts had finished.

"Your nosey though I will answer your questions. Im all about learning more about stuffso i will help you learn more and hopefully gain your trust. I am from Japan. Well I was born their though i mived when i was young to England" James told the dragon.

Not a very trusting dragon is it James thought after answering the dragons question. After answering the dragons question James had a thought. If the computer had broguht him here then what is Max got broguht here. Max would of probal gone into the room after him and tried to fix the computer. After these thought passed James spoke up. "Now for a question to you. Have you seen a human boy. He would be wearing a trenchcoat type of jacket. His hair would be black with streaks" james asked the dragon.

Max listened to the dragon's talk, but still couldnt be sure it was James beneath the horns, scales and teeth. "Never you mind if i've seen anyone here, im asking about you" he told the other dragon, "just saying, but hiding behind bushes and putting on a fake voice isnt the best thing to do to get trust, i say that gives me a reason to be curious, you however lack such a bonus" Max snarled at the other dragon.

"so, James Taiki, i need to make sure you are who you say you are... what school did you go to when you first moved to England?" he asked, keeping it in his head that one question at a time would be best, he must not lose this trail.

James sighed before answering the question. "I first went to Black-Vale primary school before I went on to Black-vale secondary school." James then said "Is there anything else you want to ask me. If so then ask me more than just one question so I can prove to you it is me" James said to the dragon.

James was begining to lose patience. He needed to see if Max had come here to and this guy was standing in his way from obtaining that piece of knowledge. James was going to answer a couple more questions before he would snap.

He wasnt surprised much when James answered the question right, he had a feeling it was him, but he still couldnt trust him, so this facade would have to continue. "Very well... a simple question then, what was your parent's names... and what was their occupation?" he asked, he knew for certain James would answer this right, so his mind was on how he would reveal that he was indeed Max, he didnt want to shock him or anytihng.

"My parents names are Hamano and Kerry Taiki and my mum is a florist while my dad is a painter. He was a calligraphist till we moved" James said to the dragon quickly. "Now is that all" He asked him.

"I see" Max muttered at Jame's answer, "well, i guess you really are who you say you are." he stated to James, "who are you looking for again?" he asked him, "and even more, how the heck did you get here, coming from the other world and all that?" Max asked James... he swore James would pay if he told him that it was him who messed up their computer and got them both sent here.

James sighed before saying calmly "I am looking for my brother Max." James thought for a second while looking at the trees and plants wave in the wind. "Well if I remember properly I went into my bedroom to find the computer messing up. So i looked at it and decided to turn it off by pulling the plug out though sadly I ended up pulling the plug off. It then went haywire and sucked me in" James said to the dragon. Having a quick think to make sure he had said everything he nodded. "Yep thats about all that I did" James added. "Why you ask" James asked
