The whine of a well used pencil sharpener came to a stop as Cedric Nadmai withdrew his pencil. He brought the fine tip up to his eye and examined it with a sharp eye... like with everything he saw. Once to his satisfaction, he turned away from the wall and faced the crowded class.
There were twenty kids in his class, all of them he didn't know or couldn't understand. It seemed like the students have made there own groups depending on where they were sitting in the class. some were a mixture of strong, sportsman, and others were groups of popular girls.... but no "group" had someone like Cedric, and this was one of the many things that aggravated him.
He went back to his seat, aware that there was only a couple of minutes left, and started on his next Philosophical poem, and he knew just what he would write it about. In situations like these, cedric would be around people he could not understand and it would frustrate him to try and think how the other people thought.... what were their motives? Why did they pull such harmful pranks? Why didn't they do such an easy assignment? All of this he couldn't understand and it not just happened here but everywhere he went. He just couldn't understand why people acted that way.
He scratched out an adjective "that wouldn't work there...." he said to himself. This particular poem was about how he couldn't trust the people around him becouse he failed to understand how they "ticked". If there was one thing he really wanted, it was an idol... someone who he knew was honest, someone he would know their full good intentions and follow their example. His pencil tapped furiously on the paper looking for the missing word and even when the bell rang, he had nothing. He picked up his pencil and paper and was about to put it inside his backpack when he noticed something sticking out of one of its compartments, a gun magazine. Cedric Nadmai looked closer, "That's not mine" he thought. One of the jocks came over form a group of popular girls. "hey, is that a gun magazine? I never knew that you were that type of person Cedric... what are you looking to do? shooting someone?" a girl or two giggled. Cedric's look of surprise was wiped clean. he dealt with these people before, people who would set things up to make it look like he was some type of freak. "ill be taken that now" he grabbed the magazine and headed for the door, "if anyone gets shot ill be sure to let the police know about'cha!"
Cedric was heading for the door and looked out into the hallway to discover he was long gone. he felt a mixture of embarrassment and panic. He knew it was a harmless trick... they did it all the time. But why was he panicking? why was he embarrassed still? it didn't make sense. He twitched his lip at the thought and went back into the room for his backpack.

Walking through the halls was typically something many kids turned into a leisurely walk. But for Cedric it was a race against the clock. He bolted past the kids that had just exited and towards the corodor as well as the stair well. there, if no one was in the way, he would slide down the stairs and run to the library before the bell rang. He got half way when some people were taking their time down the stairs. he disliked these people as well. they are what he liked to call, the "slugs"of the hallway, and typically traveled at a pace measured in decimals. Finally after trying to think about why they couldn't move he yelled out out of hate, "why don't you move already!? We only have a minute left!" the two students looked back, giving Cedric enough time to slip through them and hurry down to the library accompanied by snickering. "if i can't understand it then there's something wrong with me or with them.... and i don't think there's something wrong with being on time.... then again i probably approached that wrongly by yelling..." a cloud of guilt formed around him as he entered the library.
the library, being a fascinating place for Cedric, was only too short. It was his time to unwind, read a book or write a piece of literature just before the buses arrive. After the bus ride home he let himself into the giant white house and went to his room where he entered his password for his computer.
The house was built just before he was born, and provided an airy, open feel for his upbringing. But becouse his parents were never around, this wide open space often made him feel lonely and lost. He looked to the left of his desk at a photograph his mom placed there a week before as an apologetic gift along with his watch for not being at his tennis tournament. It showed all three of them in fancy suits with a marble background, the boarder of the frame had a streak of silver. it looked great... together like that, but that picture was a lie and he hated it. He hated things that lied, but he couldn't take it down, and he himself could not bring himself to tell his mother he didn't like it. He blinked at the loading screen and realized that he himself may be lying to his mother. He pressed his thumb and pointer finger to his forehead... it was all too confusing.
Finally the computer was loaded and he smiled as he got to work. He rolled up his sleeves and pressed a silver button on the side of his watch and it beeped signaling it was ready to connect to the computer. The watch on his left wrist was no bigger then a quarter, yet was more then just you average time telling device. It was actually also a portable thumb drive. Cedric liked this so much, it was not only convenient, but down right cool. recently he was testing a conversion program that turned any file you wanted into another. The person on the internet claimed it to be 99% glitch free. however, there was one glitch were the file conversion would crash mid way. Cedirc encountered it twice when trying to convert some window texts for his ipod. It would stop.... and just crash.
Cedric navigated to the site where he downloaded the conversion program... still no luck, it appears that not even the programmer knew what was wrong. Cedric frowned, "maybe its time to take this program off... ill just buy a copy from another site for Pete's sake." He linked his watch wireless to the computer after authenticating the connection and brought up the hard drive folder...
then.... it happened....
His watch started to beep annoyingly. Cedric glanced down, "what the heck?" he pressed the button on the side of the watch but it seemed to have a mind of its own and refused to unlink from the computer. "darn lag" he looked to his computer and saw that the monitor looked badly synced. The wallpaper and window kept going up and reappearing on the bottom of the screen. All of a sudden a screeching noise came through the computer and Cedric scrambled to try and turn the speakers off before he even understood what it was. He sat back with his watch still beeping and watched the screen for a second or two, giving up he admitted defeat, "what on earth is going on?!?" He smelled smoke and he noticed that his watch was starting too actually SMOKE! and underneath the haze that spiraled off of it a blue light, not shined, but beamed out. "ACK!" he yelled as part of the plastic started to melt from the heat. he tried to get it off but something cought his attention on the monitor and he turned to see what it was....
... All he could do was begin to scream as he was pulled forwards and darkness enveloped him.

Cedric’s attention quickly turned from his smoking watch to the space around him. A multitude of colors raged around him. Each time one of the ribbons of color and texture bumped into him he would pass through it and be left with a feeling of warmth. Cedric frantically looked around, trying to understand what was going on like he did with everything. He was falling down chest first through the strange ribbons of color. He looked behind himself to try and find the portal from which he came, he awkwardly turned his head but found that the opening to the room that he expected was not there. He started to sweat, “what on earth is going on?!?” He suddenly saw what looked to be strips of 0’s and 1’s fly past him changing in position while they waved uniformly in the space. Wondering where this came from he instinctively looked forward to see something awe inspiring. Below him were thousands of lines of code, each intersecting each other at some points like a plaid sweatshirt. Some were big some were small. But they were all moving… all changing. Cedric saw an incoming ribbon of code and leaned to the left, letting it pass by him harmlessly. “What is this place?” he said to himself. He had never in his life seen such a phenomena. He didn’t know much about computers but it was common sense they didn’t swallow you whole. As he usually did he tried to run through all the possible things that could possibly cause this to happen. Avoiding another coded ribbon he sparked an idea! “The watch!” he said in brilliance. Before his eyes could move he tried to put his hand to the watch. He felt metal…. And then a burning sensation, “AGGH!” He took it off immediately and looked to the device. It was still beaming blue light, like a beacon or a light house calling in a boat. He noticed it had gotten uncomfortably hot, to the point o burning around his wrist. After another coded ribbon spiraled in front of him he saw why. The watch had actually over heated to the point where it was melting onto his arm! He bit his lip and tried not to cry out at the incoming pain that radiated from it. He looked forward and prayed that he would land back home and this would all end. He prayed that he would get out of this unscathed, and he cursed ever putting the watch on.
All this was happening in his free fall when all of a sudden… the matted code opened up, revealing a dark hole in the middle. Cedric continued to wince as he peered closer as it got bigger and bigger. He tried to lean to the right to drift away from it, but it was expanding faster then he was moving. He braced himself for impact and closed his eyes, holding his arms over his face… but only a wave of warmth came over him. He opened his eyes… he was in pitch black darkness. He was still falling, but he couldn’t see where he was going. The only light came from his watch that beamed blue. All of a sudden, in the distance, a pair of red, slanted eyes appeared. Cedric saw them immediately. He blinked twice and moved his sleeve which was flapping wildly in the free fall. The second look confirmed it for him and he felt a horrible shock over come him. It would be natural for anyone to do the same. He quickly moved his watch in front so it shown the blue beam at the eyes, hoping too illuminate it, but the eyes remained there…. Nothing else…. Just the eyes, unblinking, and unmoving. They started to shrink into the distance above him and were soon, out of view. Feeling safe to look back down again, Cedric questioned what he saw. “What on earth was that?” he thought. “Was I imagining things? Am I imagining this whole thing?.... its too warm to think…..” he was right, the atmosphere was so warm… so comforting. His eyes began to become heavy and started to shut. “Why am I falling asleep? Or am I just waking up?... Yes… that must be it, I’m dreaming, and I’m coming out of it, just one big, ludicrous, lucid dream…..” he closed his eyes and the warmth quickly settled him into a deep rest.
After several minutes of falling through the air. His watch began to beep. But not like the beeping that he heard in the real world. This time it was different. It was erratic and started to phase in and out in volume and pitch. If one would not be blinded by the beaming light, you could see on the display millions of lines of codes, both in Binary and in Q-basic coding. The lettering got bigger, as if coming out of the screen, and melted through the plastic in long coded ribbons. Just like the ribbons of codes before he entered the black portal. Cedric was sound asleep, but little did he know that this was not a dream, and he would not leave. The coded ribbons came through the watch by the thousands, each crawling out onto the watch’s surface and curling up around Cedric’s arm. More and more code came out of the watch, pushing the existing ribbons up the arm and down Cedric's body. Soon there was a lattice of crisscrossing code lightly interwoven around him. Then they started to glow a crimson red and the outline of Cedric glowed red in response. The red, unearthly aura grew around Cedric's outlines until he was fully covered in a a soft, red light. Underneath that mysterious glow, something was changing.

What Cedric thought was reality was actually a dream he was having. Inside his deep sleep, he dreamed he had woken up to his own, soft bed. But there was something unusual, his parents were at his side. Cedric quickly pushed his awkward "dream" aside and moved his head, "mom? dad? aren't you two supposed to be at work?" they smiled, "yes sweetheart but we thought today we could take the day off to do something as a family"
meanwhile, when Cedric was asleep... his body was changing. The aura around him became darker and thicker. Inside Cedric was going through a permanent, horrifying transformation. One by one, the coded ribbons as tiny as a width of a pencil, penetrated the red aura and into Cedric's body. His cells slowly rearranged to line up in columns and slowly be turned into computer code. tissue of all kinds were turning into 0's and 1's. Soon you could even see a lattice of codes making up his skin and even organs. Then in a single second... the ribbons violently unwound from Cedric and exited the aura, coating themselves in the red mist that made it up. But the misty aura didn't shake off, rather, it started to fuse with tthe codes, adding extra codes into it. The swarming code circled around and back into the aura where it re latticed into a different being.... A being with three clawed hands, strong raptor like talons. The code continued to knit itself together forming digigrade legs and a thick muscular tail. A head shaped like that of a comodo dragon was formed with wing like extensions for ears. It's eyes still shut in sleep. Finally the figure plunged through the red aura and red pigments formed all over him except for several hazard symbols on his chest, muzzle, hands, and feet. Where his defective watch once was.... lied a digivice.
A light flashed from the bottom of the darkness and the limp Guilmon was flung down to the ground. At the very end, a weird force seemed to slow his fall and rested his head on the soft sand beside a lake.
(Woohoo! Finally in the RP XD)
