Omnimon and Apocalymon fought several times. Omnimon finally realised defeat and accepted it by deleting himself. This was what Apocalymon originally thought anyway. It turned out he gave his data to the digital gates that Apocalymon had closed years ago.
Apocalymon roared when he found out a beacon had been sent. He had infact been on his way to try to close it when he realised something. If omnimon had sent a beacon for digidestined then why couldnt he but put a little bit of evil in them that would soon grow and overcome them. And that was what he did. He found a small gateway and put a virus into it. This virus would infect everyone who came through this gateway. He then had the gateway under guard so if anyone every came though this gateway he would know. Sadly a glitch in his plan was that the gates had been fully opened by omnimon meaning if someone did come out of the gateway they could land anywhere so he had no way of tracking them.
He decided to make Generals to track down these evil digidestined so he could make sure they stayed evil. he was sick of theold 4 so he decided to make new ones. Who are these new generals and will they wreak more havic than the 4 dark masters did. And what of these dark digidestined. Will they really become evil.
